Applications

The target results can be for example:

- Defects removal repairing of  semaless pipes

- Roughness improvement for corrosion resistance.

- Cleaning from oxide layer previous to coating operaitons

- Grinding of the internal surface to prepare for NDT tests

These machines is studied to make this operation management more easy and solve performances issues in terms of productivity and repeatability.

The machine is fully automatic in set up and in working cycle.

All  adjustments are controlled and visualised,  including recovery of tools wear, adjustment of tools working pressure, step-less adjustment of rotation speed of the machine and of the tools.

Characteristics

SE developed special technology for tubes and pipes internal grinding and polishing, a machine to work with high performances but also  upkeep quality limiting the human work and influece.

The operations are carried out automatically according to programmed working parameters, stored in recipes, and controlled by PLC.

Operator is involved only to supervise the operation and to check finishing quality after the cycle is finished.
